Flame retardant trousers designed for use where protection in hazardous environments such as transferring gases or volatile fuels that render the atmosphere potentially explosive. These comfortable green combat trousers conform to EN1149 - protection against the danger caused by static electricity which could otherwise create a disastrous explosion. The fabric has inherent fireproof features and does not depend on chemical treatment. The tough fabric has high mechanical resistance for outstanding longevity. They are very easy to maintain being washable and having great durability. The washing shrinkage is less than 3%. Ideal for drivers or personnel requiring a two part set – see also AS5816 trouser.
